I had a great experience. I learnt at my own pace and my mentor Alice was always there whenever I needed her. Online can be tricky if you have absolutely no idea about makeup but AOFM makes sure you learn from the basics. The mentors revert for every little thing so do not hesitate in clearing your doubts even if it's the smallest query. The master class also gives you an extra edge with their tips and tricks. The only thing I will suggest is select a particular branch of AOFM which you relate to, be it Dubai or London.

I've finished the online course few months ago. The distance learning is a very convenient form of education for someone who is not living in one of the locations where the Academy offers regular courses. It was a great experience — my mentor Alice was very supportive and yet demanding. Each student gets a starter kit with a set of brushes and diverse products.

The content of the material covers different aspects of makeup artistry starting with basics such as hygiene and skincare, through makeup techniques, makeup for different occasions, makeup from different decades, mature skin, male makeup, creative and on fashion shows. The structure of the course and the content are vast and full of information in order to build a solid base for professional makeup artists.

AOFM is having a great aftercare approach for its graduates offering plenty of free master classes and backstage opportunities. I was very lucky to have a one-to-one free master class with the founder Jana Ririnui, which is once again evidencing the support that graduates can get. Thank you AOFM!
